Scholarships are traditionally offered in every major area of Visual Arts. We have scholarships that have been traditionally offered for many years, as well as new scholarships coming on board each year.
Applicants for all visual art and design scholarships must be enrolled as full-time art majors at UNT and must meet individual scholarship requirements. Scholarship application packets are disseminated in the Fall each year and students turn the packets back into Student Services the following Spring semester - traditionally sometime in February. The Scholarship awards are made each year at the annual Voertman Student Exhibition held in the spring. Many donors are able to attend and meet their scholarship recipient. Awards made are for the following Fall and Spring semesters.
Information regarding the requirements for individual scholarships is available through the Visual Art and Design, Student Services Office, Art Building room 111, 940-565-2216. Students should check the Student Services webpage towards the end of the fall semester for the updated scholarship packet, which contains information and requirements for all the visual art and design scholarships offered and the deadline for getting all information turned in.
