Mitchell Elementary School MITCHELL ELEMENTARY STRATEGIES Every day each child will engage in some stage of process writing and in problem solving using the computer when possible. We will obtain the resources to support our mission statement. We will ensure that our curriculum and instruction is consistent with and supportive of our mission statement. The Mitchell population will have no more than eight absences each year. We will continually increase community involvement. We will implement a personalized learning plan including portfolios. We will add foreign language into the curriculum. Curriculum will be taught and assessed in an integrated manner. Students will demonstrate competence in the production of collaborative, multi-media productions. We will integrate the teaching and practice of citizenship in all aspects of the curriculum.
