Stacey Lizotte

Stacey is pursuing a Masters degree in Art Education at the University of North Texas. She believes that art is a universal language that opens doors to wonder, enriches lives, provokes thought, and merges different cultures. Her experiences with art shaped a desire to teach others about making art, the history of art, and the benefits of the arts in our culture."The connections and relationships I will form during the upcoming year with the other Marcus Fellows and through the national and local conferences will benefit me when I go out into the working force of the education community. I will be shown different perspectives within the field by educators whom otherwise I would not have been able to meet."
