Candidates must meet all admission requirements
of the Toulouse School of Graduate Studies and the School
of Visual Arts at the University of North Texas.
Prospective Marcus Fellows need to be
accepted into both the Graduate School and the graduate
art education program prior to being considered for the
fellowship.
Marcus Fellows must be able to devote
their full time to the fellowship. They may not hold other
employment while receiving the fellowship.
The Program requires that each Fellow
enroll for a minimum of 15 hours of prescribed graduate
level courses each semester (Fall and Spring) and participate
in a ten-week museum internship during the Summer.
Basic computer knowledge is highly desirable.
The program does not guarantee a graduate degree from the
University of North Texas, but graduate hours accumulated
over the 12 months may be applied toward a master's or doctoral
degree as described in the University catalog, provided admission
to the graduate program is obtained prior to beginning the
fellowship.
