Are you prepared to be a leader in the arts in the new millennium? With new times come new challenges. Exciting advances in comprehensive arts education and technology make the future one of promise and infinite possibilities. The preparation of arts leaders is a central part of the mission of the North Texas Institute for Educations on the Visual Arts (NTIEVA). The Priddy Charitable Trust Fellowships in Arts Leadership are offered in collaboration with the College of Visual Arts and Design (CVAD) and the College of Music (COM) at the University of North Texas (UNT) and position students to forge the alliances, create the collaborations, and produce the materials that will ensure quality arts education well into the 21sth century. From 1995 through 2006, the Institute provided Fellowships for graduate students in art education and museum education through the Marcus Fellows Program. Supported by the Edward and Betty Marcus Foundation, fifty-three (53) students completed the year-long, intensive program of study and are filling important leadership roles in museums and schools throughout Texas and beyond. |
